Fusion Kenpo was founded as a system in 2003 by Professor Harry Baker and is based on over 50 years of study with legendary teachers, such as but not limited to Grand Professor Edmund Parker, Grandmaster Kalaii K. Griffin, and Grand Professor Ibrahim Sharif.  Professor Baker’s Martial Arts family tree is rooted in a strong foundation with traceable linage in the Marital Arts going back through, Daruma, Chitose Tsuyoshi James Mitose, Professor William Chow, Professor Ronald Duncan, Professor Vee, Professor James Cheatham, Dr. Moses Powell, Grand Professor William Chow, Dr. Daniel Pai, Dr. Robert Trias, Great Grandmaster Emperado, and Woody Chan. 

The aforementioned  linage combined with additional study of the Fibrous Root System in Medicine, Nutrition, Philosophy, Archery, and K-9 training (Shutzhund, KNVP, IPO, Military, Police, Security)  is the foundation of Fusion Kenpo and its real life applications as a science based, full combat and complete self-defense martial arts system.

Taking the best from each teacher and martial arts system, with a hyper focus on the elements of science, nutrition, philosophy, spirituality, archery, k-9 training, key elements were fused into a new paradigm of Science-Based Martial Arts (Martial Science) training and called Fusion Kenpo.  This form of training gives the Karate-ka a deeper understanding of how to deploy strikes when they mature as students while simultaneously building the confidence, fitness, and discipline necessary to help our children be successful in school and life.

This is the only known school in the United States with this type of comprehensive training which presents as unique Paradigm of Martial Arts of Training for those that are up for the challenge.

How much does training cost? - Prices may vary but grant opportunities do exist for certain programming.

Is training still available during the COVID-19 shut down, what training is available online? Mixed training opportunities exist via live video instruction and the American Style Nunchaku system is available for students to proceed through prerecorded material at their own pace.
